Hand #83: Yaroshevskyy Doubles Through MacPhee, Theodosiadis Folds The Winner
Pascal Theodosiadis opens to 260,000 from the button and Igor Yaroshevskyy, pictured above, announces "all-in" from the small blind for just over 2,600,000.
Kevin MacPhee is in the big blind and he then announces himself "all-in" as well, with the effective stack paying just under 3,900,000.
Action is back on Theodosiadis, who takes nearly two minutes to come to a decision, looking towards the heavens and at his rail a few times, searching for a sign as to what to do in what could be a bracelet winning moment.
It would have been, had Theodosiadis elected to call. Instead, he folds face up and watches Igor Yaroshevskyy table and Kevin MacPhee table .
The entire rail can't believe it, as the two shorter stacks are more or less freerolling after forcing a fold from pocket queens.
But, there is still a massive all-in to tend to, as nearly three dozen spectators watch the board run out, with the Ukrainian section going absolutely bonkers when the river pairs up Yaroshevskyy.
When the dust settles, the players move their chips to racks and move to the Amazon Gold section to better accommodate a large and growing rail.
Pascal Theodosiadis still controls close to 4,500,000 chips, but there is a new chip leader, as Igor Yaroshevskyy is now playing just over 5,000,000 and Kevin MacPhee is down to his last 1,500,000.
