No Love From Russia for Craig McCorkell

The board is     and Vasily Tsapko is heads up against WSOP bracelet winner Craig McCorkell.

McCorkell raises to 19,000 from middle position and Tsapko reraises to 55,000 from under the gun. McCorkell calls.

The turn is the  . Tsapko bets 84,000. McCorkell tanks, then calls.

The river is the  . Tsapko goes all in. McCorkell asks how much he has. The dealer cuts it down and announces 354,000.

McCorkell tanks, looking intently at Tsapko. He says: "You don't look too nervous.." When Tsapko doesn't respond, McCorkell continues: "It's a big pot - 1,000,000 chips." Tsapko sits silently. McCorkell says: "I don't care!" He continues to tank, looking at Tsapko and shaking his head.

Changing tack, McCorkell asks: "Where are you from?" Tsapko doesnt break. McCorkell shakes his head and looks away. He looks back at Tsapko then flicks his cards towards the dealer.

As the dealer pushes the pot towards Tsapko, McCorkell says: "You want to show your bluff?" Tsapko smiles but doesn't give anything away. McCorkell persists, telling him: "I had a king." Tsapko smiles but doesn't respond. McCorkell turns to the player next to him and says: "He's like a robot!"

As the dealer shuffles the cards for the next hand, McCorkell says to Tsapko: "You can tell me where you're from now." Tsapko says: "Russia." McCorkell says: "Maybe I should have called."
