Randy Pfeifer Leads Final 17 Players In Battle To Be Millionaire Maker Champion
Randy Pfeifer
17 players will return tomorrow to battle it out for the opportunity to be the 2015 Millionaire Maker Champion.
142 players began the day all dreaming of the $1,277,193 first prize, along with the coveted gold WSOP bracelet awarded to the winner, and within the first 2 levels over 50 players had been eliminated, including notable players Raymond Davis and Shannon Shorr. Soon to follow them out of the door were other well known players such as WSOP Circuit regular Paul Sokoloff, Katie Lindsay, Hoyt Corkins and Blair Hinkle. Once the tournament was reduced to three tables, play slowed down dramatically, with only 10 eliminations in the final four hours of play including Steve Gross, who joined two others in cashing for the 4th time in the Series.
Mike Sexton
Of the 17 players that remain, Mike Sexton is probably the best known player, with the WSOP Bracelet Holder and Poker Hall of Famer finishing the day with 3,300,000 chips. He will be joined by two time bracelet winner and 2008 WSOP Player of the Year Erick Lindgren (5,450,000) and well known online players such as Andrew "LuckyChewy" Lichtenberger (1,340,000), Niall "Firaldo87" Farrell (1,875,000) and Olivier "livb112" Busquet (5,150,000). They will all be chasing down our chipleader, Randy Pfeifer, who has 6,500,000 in chips and will be one of the favorites when we return tomorrow.
Tomorrow is expected to play down to a winner, with the final table being streamed live on WSOP.com/live and all updates brought to you by us here at WSOP.com. Join us at 11a.m. local time to follow the Millionaire Maker down to an exciting conclusion!
