Eric Wasserson Has "Really, Really Good Cards"
Eric Wasserson opens from the button to 700 and the small blind three-bets to 2,425. Daniel Negreanu folds in the big blind and Wasserson, after some thought, calls.
The small blind then leads the flop for 2,600, with Wasserson again calling.
The falls on the turn and the small blind slows down, checking to the in position Wasserson.
Wasserson counts his stack and takes a few moments to think before throwing out 5,800.
The small blind quickly folds and while Wasserson is taking in the pot he says, "I had really, really good cards."
"Mine were eh." replies the small blind, shrugging his shoulders.
Really, really good cards usually beat eh cards and Wasserson is now playing close to 45,000 thanks to them.
