Hand #132 - Perry Shiao
Perry Shiao raises to 4,500,000 from the button, and Eric Place calls. The flop is , and both players check. Place leads out for 3,100,000 on the turn, and Shiao calls.
The river is the , and Place continues for 8,000,000. Shiao cuts out chips for a call, but doesn't push them forward yet. After thinking a bit, he announces, "All in," as he puts out the stack of chips.
Place pushes back his hood, and goes deep into the tank. He starts talking the decision through with himself. At one point, Shiao thinks he heard what Place said under his breath, and he asks, "Did you say you have pocket threes?"
Place, a little surprised, replies, "No. If I had pocket threes, it would be in the middle by now."
Shiao keeps the conversation going: "If you can't beat pocket threes, you should fold."
After another few minutes, about seven minutes total of thinking, Place does, in fact, fold, and Shiao extends his chip lead.
Perry Shiao - 81,000,000
Eric Place - 27,000,000
