Another Day, Lots More Dollars--Day 1B Begins at Noon
> It was a busy day yesterday at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, as 303 players took their seats in Day 1A of the $1,675 buy-in Circuit Main Event. Of those, 51 survived with Chris Lindh leading the way.
Today, we'll be seeing some of those faces again, as the single re-entry component of this tournaments allows players to take another shot at 12pm PT today when Day 1B gets underway.
Players start with 20,000 in tournament chips, and blinds begin at 25/50. Play is scheduled for fifteen 40-minute levels. There are 10-minute breaks every two hours with no dinner break. Registration is open until the start of Level 13, which is expected to be around 8:30 PM. Players should bag up for the day shortly before 11pm.
Last year, this event drew 744 entries, creating a prize pool in excess of $1.1 million. With a strong turnout yesterday, it certainly seems possible we will see those kinds of numbers in this year's field as well.
