We missed the hand, but Eric Crain kindly filled us in on the details of the big pot he played that sent John Dolan to the rail.
As Crain tells it, he opened for a raise, then Dolan reraised behind him. Action folded back around to Crain, who four-bet, and Dolan called.
The flop came A-K-6 with one diamond. Crain checked, Dolan bet, and Crain called. The turn then brought the . Crain checked again, Dolan bet again, then Crain check-raised all-in, having Dolan just covered. Dolan showed pocket kings for a set of kings, while Crain held for top pair and the nut flush draw.
The river brought Crain a winning diamond and Dolan, who was a big stack for much of the day, is sent home late in Day 1A action.
