Brutal Accidental Slowroll Sends Cory Smith to the Rail
Cory Smith
On a flop of Cory Smith checks as the first player to act. Another player to his left bets 5,000 into a pot that has already ballooned to over 10,000. In the cutoff, Srinivasa Vadlamudi calls the 5,000 and action is back on Smith. Smith moves all in for 22,050 total. The first player to bet folds and it seems like Vadlamudi drops into the tank. No one acts for several minutes. Smith then starts talking.
"There's no shame in folding," Smith says. "Sounds like you wanna suck out."
Players continue taking no action for another couple minutes before the clock is finally called. When the floorman arrives, Vadlamudi is told that he has one minute to act, he points to himself, and asks about the other player in the hand, who has already folded. Upon realising it was his turn to act, Vadlamudi immediately begins to apologize, and calls.

Vadlamudi had flopped the nuts and didn't realize it was his turn to act. "I didn't even know he was talking to me, I thought he was talking to him!" Vadlamudi says.
The board completes with the and the and that's it for Smith who heads to the rail after the unfortunate accidental slowroll.
