Carlos Loving Defeats Austin Reilly to Win Event #5 ($15,442)
Carlos Loving

Carlos Loving (pictured above) wasted no time turning the tables on Austin Reilly in the heads-up duel, and the last hand played out just about a half hour into the match.

It began with Loving limping the button with queen-deuce of spades and Reilly checking his option in the big blind. Both players check through the jack-high, two-spade flop, and the turn is a blank for Loving. He bets, though, and Reilly moves all in. When Loving calls, Reilly sees that his four-five of spades is ahead with the only pair, but Loving has plenty of outs for the win. The river is the Ace of Spades, and Loving wins the pot and the tournament with the second-nut flush.

It was quite a day for Loving, who finished as the runner-up in Event #3 just a few hours prior to this win. This one is the second victory of his Circuit career, with both rings coming in this building.

Reilly (below) won a ring in Cherokee earlier this season, but he's forced to settle for the second-place prize of $9,540 this time around.
