Cory Waaland Wins Event #4 ($38,623)
Cory Waaland earned his fifth career ring and $38,623 in Event #4 ($365 Monster Stack) of the World Series of Poker Circuit at Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Ind. The trip north marks Waaland's first time to the Chicago-area property and he already has his sights on winning a sixth to match his boyhood idol Michael Jordan in the championship department.
