Hill and Mattingly Heads-Up for the Ring
With the elimination of Mink Meixell in third place, James Hill (pictured) and Joseph Mattingly have found themselves heads-up for the title. Both men are sporting Kentucky Wildcat gear and have their sights set on winning their first WSOP Circuit gold ring. This is Hill's first ever WSOP cash while Mattingly adds an 11th WSOP cash to his resume.
As it stands, Hill has about a 2:1 chip lead over Mattingly, but both men are still fairly deep. Hill sits with around 1.1 million while Mattingly has just under 600,000 in front of him. The blinds are only 8,000/16,000 with a 2,000 ante.
Here is a look at the what the two Wildcat fans are playing for:
- 1st place: $13,527 + 50 Casino Championship points + WSOP Circuit gold ring
- 2nd place: $8,360 + 37.5 Casino Championship points
