RIO'S 2nd Annual World Series Of Poker Lifestyle Show On Track To Be Successful

LAS VEGAS, January 4, 2006 - The Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino's 2nd annual World Series of Poker (WSOP) Lifestyle Show, scheduled for July 27?31, 2006, promises to offer a huge selection of poker merchandise and promotional giveaways from more than 200 poker and gaming lifestyle booths.

With less than 20 percent of vendor space still available, retailers must act quickly by visiting http://www.worldseriesofpoker.com/lifestyleshow. Exhibitors scheduled to attend include Activision, the maker of the official video game of the WSOP; Absolute Poker, featuring a car giveaway; High Roller and Bluff magazines, Classic Gaming Cruises, Lucky Aces Jewelry and many more.

The WSOP lifestyle show is a unique avenue for poker fans and poker and gaming lifestyle companies to join forces under one roof. It will be held during the first week of the $10,000 buy-in, no-limit, World Series of Poker Texas Hold'em Championship, which some poker enthusiasts predict will draw more than 7,000 players.

The WSOP Lifestyle Show will take place in Rio?s 55,000 square foot Pavilion Convention Center offering patrons the opportunity to learn, experience and purchase the hottest poker products available, as well as a wide range of gaming lifestyle products such as apparel, jewelry and books.

The inaugural year of the WSOP Lifestyle Show premiered with record numbers. In total more than 100 vendors participated and approximately 50,000 poker fans attended.

The WSOP Lifestyle Show is open to the public (21 and over) and attendees can enjoy extended dates and hours this year. Schedule is as follows: July 27-30, 11 am - 8:30 pm and July 31, 11 am - 4 pm.
