The World Series of Poker Circuit returns to Tulsa Hard Rock, awarding 16 rings between August 16 - 26.
Las Vegas, Nevada (August 15, 2023) -The Cherokee Circuit stop wrapped up yesterday, as another huge Main Event concluded with Billy Kopp as the last man standing for a $376,154 pay day. We are now turning our attention to Tulsa, Oklahoma, as they are hosting another highly anticipated World Series of Poker Circuit.
The Tulsa Hard Rock Hotel & Casino series will run between August 16 and 27, featuring 16 ring events ranging from $250 to $1,700, providing plenty of opportunities for all different bankrolls.
The first event of the series is a Circuit Classic, the $400 No-Limit Hold'em Double Stack, with cards in the air Wednesday at 11 AM. Players will start with 30,000 stacks and compete for 24 30-minute levels before bagging to come back and play to a winner on Thursday, August 16.
The most affordable buy-in of the series is Event #2: $250 No-Limit Hold'em, a one-day event starting at 11 AM on Thursday. Two Senior Events (August 20 & 27) and one Ladies Event (August 25) are also scheduled, leading up to the marquee event of the series, the $1,700 MAIN EVENT.
Flight A of the Main Event begins at 11 AM on Friday, August 25, followed by Flight B at the same time the following day. The last WSOP Circuit Main Event in Tulsa attracted a field of 476 entries that generated a prize pool of $721,140, with John Lopez, out of Springfield, MO, emerging victorious. Lopez will be able to introduce himself as the "reigning champion" until Sunday, August 27, when this year's Tulsa Circuit Main Event concludes.

All official gold ring winners from this WSOP Circuit stop will qualify for the invitation-only “Tournament of Champions”. The $1 million freeroll event will be held during the 2024 World Series of Poker tournament in Las Vegas. 2024 Online winners will also be eligible to compete in the prestigious event.
