World Series of Poker Circuit Begins Thursday at Horseshoe Tunica
19 April 2022 (Tunica, MS) - As the 2021/2022 World Series of Poker Circuit comes to a close, the final Circuit stop in the United States kicks off Thursday, April 20th at the Horseshoe Casino in Tunica, Mississippi.
The most recent Horseshoe circuit occurred only a few short months ago in January and received a fantastic turnout. Action begins with Event #1: $400 No Limit Hold'em Double Stack at 10:00 a.m. Event #1 is a two day event and will wrap up on Friday. Also firing up on the first day is Event #2: $200 No-Limit Hold'em Ladies Event at 2:00 p.m.
On Friday, Event #3: $400 No-Limit Hold'em will kick off with two of the four starting flights. The first of which will begin at 10:00 a.m. and Flight B will start at 3:00 p.m. Flight C and D will be on Saturday with all flights combining for Day 2 on Sunday.
In January the Horseshoe's Circuit Main Event drew a total of 674 entries, creating a prize pool of $1,021,110. The top 102 earned cashed, but it was Randy Paguio who came out victorious, taking home the grand prize of $193,764.
Each of the 16 ring winners at Horseshoe Tunica will earn a seat into the new, Invitation-only "Tournament of Champions." The $1,000,000 freeroll will be scheduled during the 2022 World Series of Poker, Las Vegas. 2022 online and live bracelet winners will also be eligible to play in the marquee tournament.
