RENATA COLACHE LEADS FINAL NINE GOING INTO DAY 3 OF HARRAH
March 17, 2019 (Atlantic City, NJ) - Day 2 of the World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event at Harrah's Atlantic City is in the books after ten levels of play. Out of a field of 357 entries, only 9 remain in contention for the first-place prize of $124,397, a Circuit ring and free seat into the 2019 Global Casino Championship.

Leading the way heading into the final day is Renata Colache with 2,015,000, the only stack above the 2 million mark. She is followed by Kurt Lichtman (1,490,000).

Bracelet winner and three-time ring winner Ryan Eriquezzo is still in contention with a stack of 1,360,000 in the bag. He will be looking to add more gold to his trophy case. Ryan McKnight and Denis Gnidash are two additional players who are still in with over $300,000 in WSOP cashes.

The bubble popped just after the start of Level 19. Jeff Gross pushed his last chips in the middle with king-ten and got called by Aaron Miles with ace-queen suited. Miles made queens full of aces, and the bubble burst.

Notables who returned for Day 2 but weren't lucky enough to make the money include 2015 WSOP Main Event Champion Joe McKeehen as well as six-time ring winner Roland Israelashvili.

Other big names who made the money but hit the rail throughout the day include Matt Brady (21st place - $5,436), two-time ring winner Hamid Izadi (20th place - $5,436), and Aaron Mermelstein (13th place - $7,761).

The unoffical table was reached right before the final level of the day with the elimination of defending champion Soheb Porbandarwala. Porbandarwala made deuces full of sevens against Kurt Litchman's deuces full of kings to end his chance at winning the Main Event back to back.

The final day of the tournament begins on Monday March 18th at noon local time with Level 26. The blinds will be 20,000/40,000 with a 5,000 ante and the 9 survivors are guaranteed at least $11,693.
