Stateline, Nev. (7 Nov 2016) - Michale Pearson has conquered the Harvey's Lake Tahoe Main Event and won his first WSOP gold ring. After 475 entries and three days of tournament play, Pearson comes out as the lone man on top of Event #10. The event generated a prizepool of $712,500 and Pearson earned the top prize of $153,191. Pearson was also awarded an automatic bid to the Global Casino Championship.
Event #12 also finished on Monday evening. Joseph Hilleli was the victor of the twelfth and final tournament of the 12-event series. Hilleli walked away with his first career gold ring and $15,675. The conclusion of the No-Limit Hold'em Re-Entry tournament marked the end of the Harvey's Lake Tahoe Cicurt stop.
Next up on the Circuit tour is Palm Beach Kennel Club in Florida. The fresh Circuit series will begin November 10th and run through November 21st.
Casino Champion Race
Chad DeLanzo is officially the Harvey's Lake Tahoe Casino Champion. DeLanzo took fourth place in Event #2 and then went on to win Event #4, accumulating a total of 77.5 points. Although there were two extremely close competitors in Greg Armand and Richard Fitzgerald, each with 75 points, DeLanzo holds his top position in the end.
