Hammond, Ind. (October 21, 2015) — As a change,
Wednesday’s Day 7 of the World Series of Poker Circuit at the Horseshoe
Casino was headlined by two non-ring events. The property’s noon and 5
p.m. $200 special events drew 880 and 322 entries respectively. In all,
the tournaments boasted a combined prize pool of more than $180,000 and
saw the Horseshoe add 27 Main Event seats worth another $45,000.
Running
alongside the $200 side events were Day 2 of Event #6, a $580 six-max,
and Day 1 of Event #7, a $1,125 no-limit hold’em. Event #6 was won by
Bradley Rhodes of Indianapolis. The win marked Rhode’s first on the
Circuit and earned him $28,758. Event #7, meanwhile, drew 142 players
generating a $142,000 prize pool.
