Twenty-one-year old, Clayton Jiang, wins a gold ring in his first ever WSOP event
Elizabeth, Ind. (Oct. 5, 2015) -- Clayton Jiang took the spotlight on Day 5 at the WSOP Circuit Horseshoe S. Indiana. The WSOP rookie came out on top of one of the toughest final tables the series has seen so far. Jiang collected $9,450, a WSOP Circuit gold ring and 50 Casino Championship points for his gold ring victory.
Event #5 - $365 No-Limit Hold'em Six Max was they day's new event. This tournament attracted 164 entries to create a $49,200. Play lasted 18 and one half levels and ended for the night when the final table was reached. The final six players will return tomorrow at 2 p.m. for Day 2 and the conclusion of the tournament.
Cody Pack sits fourth in chips and is attempting to become the first player to win two gold rings this season. Pack won his second career gold ring and first of the season in September at the Palm Beach Kennel Club. The man currently sitting in third place is Charles Dawson. Dawson becomes the first person to reach two final tables at this series. Dawson finished in fourth place in the opening event of the series.
