On Wednesday, one of the signature events at this Circuit stop - the Monster Stack tournament - got underway. It will finish up on Thursday, and then Friday the Main Event begins. In between, there's one more ring event starting Thursday.

2:00 p.m. - Event #10: $365 Monster Stack (Day 2)

• 42 Players return from a starting field of 632
• The eventual winner will earn $38,874
• The chip leader is Chris Godbey, with 793,000.

• Play resumes at Level 22 (blinds 6,000/12,000 with a 2,000 ante)

NEW EVENT:

Noon - Event #12: $365 No-Limit Hold'em (Day 1)

• Players start with 10,000 in tournament chips
• Blinds start at 25/50
• Late registration is open until the start of Level 9.
  
• Day 1 is scheduled to play 21 levels. Levels 1-12 are 30 minutes. Levels 13-21 are 40 minutes.
• There is a 20-minute break after every two hours, with a 60-minute dinner break after Level 12.
• Day 2 begins Friday at 2:00 p.m.

With six events complete, the current leader in the Casino Champion race is Jon Lactaoen, with 70 points. Lactaoen has three cashes, including two final tables, so far here at Planet Hollywood.
