WSOP CIRCUIT BICYCLE CASINO WRAPS UP TUESDAY

There is only one day remaining for the WSOP Circuit at the Bicycle Casino and the final two rings will be won on Tuesday afternoon.

Michael Zelman and Valentin Vornicu Lead Main Event

The staple of the WSOP Circuit, the $1,675 No Limit Hold’em main event, is down to its final 11 players and its third and final day.

Michael Zelman and Valentin Vornicu are neck and neck atop the chip counts of the final 11 with 2,585,000 and 2,520,000, respectively. Between the two of them, they hold almost half of the chips in play.

Day 3 starts at 1 p.m. on Tuesday and will play down to a winner. Everybody is guaranteed $14,825, but everybody has their sights set on the $197,110 first place prize.

A complete recap of the day’s action can be found here and complete chip counts for the final 11 can be found here.

Jason Les and Erik Christensen Lead High Roller

The final event of the series kicked off on Monday with the $3,250 High Roller No Limit Hold’em. One of the newest installments to certain WSOP Circuit attracted 35 players for Day 1 and after the scheduled 12 levels of play, Jason Les and Erik Christensen lead the 12 players that survived.

Registration is still open until cards get in the air for Day 2, at which point the prizepool information will be announced.

A complete list of chip counts for Day 2 can be found here.

Wendy Freedman Nearly Locks Up Casino Championship

With the final two events down to its final day, the Casino Championship has basically been awarded to Wendy Freedman. The only way she can’t officially win the title on Tuesday is if Alan Myerson buys into the High Roller on Day 2 and wins the event.

Freedman cashed three times throughout the 12 events and all three of which were final tables. She finished second to Alan Myerson in the $365 Bounty No Limit, second to Nadim Shabou in the $580 No Limit Hold’em and finished fourth in the second $365 Monster Stack No Limit Hold’em. Her three cashes totaled $23,745.

She will earn an automatic entry into the Global Casino Championship for her successful series at the Bike, a $10,000 buy-in with a minimum of a $1 million prizepool. A look at the final standings can be found here.
