SUSAN FABER DOMINATES DAY 2 AT CHEROKEE
Day 2 of the Harrah's Cherokee Main Event returned 203 players and after ten levels of action 20 remain. David Hines carries the lead into Monday's finale after bagging up 2,130,000.

Hines was the only player to cross the 2 million mark, but Daniel Weinman bagged 1,820,000 and Bruce Webb put 1,795,000 in the bag. Fikret Kovac was down to just 3,000 after a big confrontation when the blinds were 3,000/6,000. He bagged up 1,200,000 and gives credence to phrase "a chip and a chair."

Chris Tryba, Paul Mattioda and Edward LeBlanc return looking for their second WSOPC ring, while Jerry Monroe looks for his third.

Susan Faber is the last woman standing and was the talk of the tournament. Her wild play saw her stack go from chip leader to average and then back up again. She had spots where she called a shove holding  for 40% of her stack, laid down pocket queens preflop and tank folded with two short stacks all in before her.

A little over half the players that returned for Day 2 earned a cash. Josh Canfil, Steve Karp, Ryan Tepen, Zo Karim, Mike Beasley, Kyle Bowker and Jesus Cabrera all cashed but fell short of surviving the day.

Unfortunately, Blair Hinkle, Aaron Massey, Kyle Cartwright, T.K. Miles and Chris Conrad were among some of pros that returned for Day 2 but were eliminated before the money bubble.

The remaining 20 players have a few hours of sleep before they return for the final day of play at noon. They'll play to winner as the event has to wrap up in more session. Follow along with the live updates until we reach a final table and eventually crown a winner.

The event drew 1,010 players, a record field for the WSOPC Main Event at this property, building a $1,515,000 prize pool.
