The property is offering several satellites for players to earn a seat into the Main Event. There will be six separate mega satellites running from Thursday, April 23 – Saturday, April 25. These six mega satellites all have buy-ins of $250 and will award one seat to the Main Event and $25 in cash for every $1,700 in the prize pool. More information on the dates and times of the satellites can be found in the link above. There will also be single table satellites running throughout the entire series. These satellites feature a buy-in range of $50 all the way up to $200. These satellites will payout the entirety of the prize pool to the first place finisher in cash.

Event #8 of this series is a $365 No-Limit Hold'em Monster Stack tournament. This tournament will follow the same structure as the other $365 buy-in events, except that players will start with a twice as large chip stack. Instead of the standard 10,000 starting stack, players will begin the monster stack event with 20,000 in chips. More chip equals more play.

It has just recently been announced that the 2015 National Championship will be hosted by Harrah’s Cherokee. This is partially due to the recent success the property has found in its WSOP events. The National Championship begins July 29. It features a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million and will award a gold Bracelet to the winner.
