WHAT:
The conclusion of poker’s richest and most prestigious poker tournament, the 41st annual World Series of Poker Presented by Jack Link’s Beef Jerky.  Featuring the November Nine – the final nine players of 7,319 participants in the $10,000 No-Limit Texas Hold’em World Championship.  These nine players are vying for the most coveted prize in poker – the WSOP Championship Bracelet and the winner’s prize of $8,944,138.
 
WHERE:
The Penn & Teller Theater at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino. Seating is extremely limited.  Public seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.  There is no reserved seating available for the general public.  Seats are expected to open up as players bust out and their section of seats become vacant.
 
WHEN:
Saturday, November 6th, 2010 and Monday, November 8th, 2010
Play on November 6th will begin with all nine participants and start at 12 noon. 

On November 8, the final two players face off at 8 PM.  Preceding the heads up play, Erik Seidel and Dan Harrington will be inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in a special induction ceremony taking place from the stage of the Penn & Teller theater.

ESPN will carry coverage of the final table on Tuesday, November 9th at 10:00 PM ET/7:00 PM PT.
 
UPON RETURN:
The event resumes with 1 hour, 14 minutes, 46 seconds left in Level 36, with antes at 50,000 and blinds at 250,000 and 500,000.
 
PRIZE POOL:
The final nine will play for a total of $29,032,637, plus interest added and accrued until the time they return in November.  The payout schedule is as follows:

*All players received 9th place prize money on July 18.  Only those finishing 8th or higher will receive additional prize money.  The remaining prize pool has been placed in a risk-free interest-bearing account and all additional interest will be added to the prize pool and divided on the same percentage basis as each place pays.

The Main Event total prize pool in 2010 is $68,798,600. A total of 747 players cashed in the event; payout for 747th place was $19,263.
